I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S GLUTEN FREE

This is by far the comment I have heard the most over the years of baking gluten free. Everyone who tries my baked goods is like “wait, this is gluten free? I can’t believe it’s gluten free.” And so the title was born out of that candid reaction that feels so true to the mission I had when I started my gluten free baking journey and why Flour & Fern was born in the first place.

Hi everyone 👋🏻

Sorry I’ve been a little mia on here! I’ve been traveling Europe and working hard to get the cookbook done! 👏🏼

If you happen to be new around here, let me tell you a bit about Flour & Fern:

Flour & Fern started long ago as a little girl’s dream to own a bakery. That dream began to take shape as a home bakery serving local Farmer’s Markets in 2019. Then it turned into a lovely little bakery inside Mac Mkt in 2020. After a successful year and a half, I realized the demand of owning my own business was not sustainable. I closed the storefront and moved on to the next chapter… a cookbook!

Flour & Fern was built on the idea that gluten free doesn’t mean you have to compromise on taste or appearance. The cookbook I’m working on is loaded with recipes from cookies and bars to scones and bread that are just as good, if not better, than their gluten filled alternatives. And I can’t wait to share them all with you very soon!

My favorite recipe in the cookbook, if we’re being honest, has to be the pumpkin bread. It’s not flashy and it’s not hard, but I don’t think I could live without it.
